Can my Shed be delivered at the weekend?
Your Shed can be delivered on a Saturday; however this does incur an additional premium cost.
What is included in the price? Are there any hidden extras?
There are no hidden extras, you select the product and optional extras you require and the final cost will be displayed before you order.
What is the quality of the materials used?
All our buildings are manufactured with either 12mm tongue and groove or heavy duty 19mm shiplap tanalised cladding, with 47x47 (2x2) framing. Any timber that comes into contact with the ground, i.e floor bearers, are vacuum pressure treated, a point here generally the bearers will run the longest side i.e a 6x4 building will have 6 foot bearers and 4 boards. As for the roofs we use OSB sterling board which is a better quality than some use, and then covered with 40kg heavy duty mineral felt.
Can you explain the difference between Shiplap and Tongue & Groove timber?
Shiplap is planed and tanalised all round which makes it smooth to the touch. The top of each board fits into a recess in the board above interlocking the boards together. Tongue & Groove is 16mm x 125mm planed tongue and groove kiln dried Swedish white wood.
I would like a bespoke timber building, that does not come as standard, can you help?
Yes, all of our buildings are made to order and not mass produced as in some cases. If you require a bespoke building please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Do I need planning permission?
Planning permission from your council is not normally needed as our buildings are often within permitted developments allowances, however there may be certain requirements that need to be followed and it all falls upon you to check with your local planning office.
